Help get the 10,000 street children off the streets of Uganda and give them a home by donating only $10 a month.
Go to  http://www.dwellingplaces.org/involved/dwellers/ to donate money or learn more about Dwelling Places.

Many former child soldiers or street children at Dwelling Places need a sponsorship so their education, food, etc. can be paid for. Go to www.dwellingplaces.org/child/child to see more about sponsorship or to sponsor a child. There are four sponsorship catoregies, but you can you pay for one category or two or three or all of them each month. Some of the children only need a sponsorship for one or two categories, though. Education costs $30(thats only a dollar a day), food costs $25, and housing and medical/social welfare also costs $25. The combined cost is $105 a month.

You can buy gorgeous necklaces, earrings, and bracelets made by the former street children and child soldiers for only 5, 8, or 10 dollars. Believe it or not, most of the necklaces are made out of recycled papers so you are being environmentally friendly! When you buy one you are saving these children's lives and are helping get children off the streets and out of wars.

Beauty 4 Life was started by Catherine Mitchell after going on a trip to Uganda. Touched by the stories of the women and children in Uganda, Catherine decided to sell the women's handcrafted jewelry to give the Ugandan women a sustainable income. Although, Catherine is only 15-years-old, she has not let that keep her from expanding Beauty 4 Life and helping the women in Uganda.
